We had a great time documenting recording with the whole band and producer Pete Steinkopf at Little Eden in Asbury Park. If you haven't already done it, go grab your copy of his incredible new record - it's up for pre-order now with three colored vinyl variants at Bandcamp and on CD/Digital at Stomp Records!
We recently partnered with Double7 Images to provide comprehensive cinematography event coverage of the American Association Of Advertising Agencies "Face Of Talent" awards ceremony.
The Face of Talent was established in 2011 as a catalyst for agency leaders, and their clients, to demonstrate their commitment to two of the most important issues facing our industry—Talent and Diversity. The multi-day symposium, including the Diversity Leadership Luncheon, attracts over 500 advertising and marketing executives. Each summer this series of events is designed to celebrate and showcase over 100 talented multicultural college seniors and graduates that comprise the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program.
We've been documenting the recording of the third LP from New Jersey artist Sammy Kay at Little Eden in Asbury Park with Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls.
Here's a a great short moment spotlighting what really goes into making a record - talent, dedication, and hard work.
Beach Slang performed as part of Asbury Lanes "We're Getting A New Roof" party and were gracious enough to allow us to film them as part of our feature length documentary "209 4th." Cut this together from the night's performance.
Check out their upcoming record "The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us" on Polyvinyl Records.
NERD TALK: FS100, single camera. SOUND: Board Mix - Jim Norton.
Threw together a little teaser for The Pink Room: David Lynch Burlesque after they graciously let us shoot their show as part of our Asbury Lanes doc. This show is a must for any David Lynch fans - true to the spirit of Twin Peaks and amazing production value.
PS - this vid might be NSFW. Shot on a 5D MKII for the nerds out there.
